PRIVACY / DEVELOPER PREVIEW

Your space.
Clear boundaries.

What this first version stores, what it sends, and what is still being built.

On this website

The site contains no analytics scripts, advertising pixels, third-party fonts, sign-up forms, or application cookies. Hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses and request metadata to serve pages and operate the service. External links lead to sites with their own privacy practices.

In the browser preview

Ordinary tabs, bookmarks, and integration manifests are saved locally. Desktop also stores up to 500 history entries. Websites keep cookies and other storage in the engine’s local profile. Infibrowser includes no analytics upload or account-sync backend.

Submitting a search sends the entered query to DuckDuckGo. Visiting a website makes ordinary network requests to that site and its embedded resources. Infibrowser does not provide anonymity, a VPN, or universal tracking protection.

Private desktop tabs

Private tabs use a separate in-memory browser session and are excluded from saved session and history data. Closing the last private tab clears its session storage and cache. Bookmarks you explicitly save and files you download remain on your device. Private tabs do not conceal traffic from websites or network operators.

Integrations

Integrations open their declared HTTPS destinations when you run a command. Your query is passed to that destination. Sharing the current page address or title requires an activeTab permission and a separate confirmation. Page-sharing commands are blocked in private tabs. API v1 does not execute third-party plugin code.

Your controls

On desktop, remove bookmarks, clear history, clear site data, and disable or remove integrations from the sidebar panels. On mobile, use Settings & privacy to clear cookies and data for loaded websites. Mobile private browsing and integrations are not included in v0.1.
